I hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy. 

 

Local Government Officials Development Institute (LOGODI) is looking for lecturers. I would love to invite you to give a special lecture. If you are not available, please forward this message on to your colleagues who may be interested.

 

Lecturer Qualification

  • An international faculty or researcher who teaches or studies on one of the four topics;
  1. Creating Positive Sports Environments: studies or researches on strategies and supports to increase daily exercise and physical activities
  2. Low Fertility Society: studies or researches on pro-fertility policies and overcoming of low fertility
  3. Expansion of tourism and welfare & revitalization of the tourism industry: A study on conditions as necessary for successful tourism development and improve the competitiveness of high added-value tourism
  4. Aging Society: studies or researches on how middle-aged and older adults improve the quality of life at older ages in an aging society

 

Lecturer Responsibilities

  • present case studies or best practices on the topic
  • introduce the relevant foreign organizations 
  • offer Q&A session 

 

A Special Lecture  

Date: select a day when you are available between September 13 and 16 

Time: select the time you prefer between 10 am to 5 pm

Teach type: Online class via ZOOM

Duration: 3 hours (lecture 45 min, break 15 mins)

Payment: About 720,000 Won(Korean Won), including teaching hours and materials

 

Overview of LOGODI

Local Government Officials Development Institute (LOGODI) is a national training institute for local government officials in Korea. Since its inception in 1965, LOGODI has been carrying out various capacity-building programs for international and domestic government officials.

 

Overview of Global Leaders Program

Launched in February 2016, the Global Leaders Program, one of five 10-month long-term programs of LOGODI, seeks to strengthen and expand the global awareness and communicative abilities of local government officials in Grades 5 and 6 as experts on international cooperation. Every year the International Training & Cooperation Division selects about 30 local government officials among the outstanding candidates recommended by the 243 local governments through a rigorous screening process. It offers its trainees study abroad programs in the USA and Europe, benchmarking advanced policy cases and accumulating international experience in the United States and Europe by working with global experts and professionals.
